Always on time, very knowledgeable and became a friend during my tour. This was my first private tour going solo and he made me feel comfortable. “Marius gave us a wonderful tour of the many painted monasteries in northern Romania. He designed the tour to enable us to see the differences in the 15th century monasteries designed by Stephan I and his followers as well as a new monastery freshly painted. We could see restoration in action of the stunning buildings, every inch painted inside and out and the difference between artists and artisans. He taught us about the art, history and religion of the area, his passion contagious. We also thoroughly enjoyed the painted egg museum. It was quite an adventure as we had our twenty-three-month-old with us, but Emanuel was super patient as we navigated long car rides with the little one. He was very informative and the perfect tour guide for all the places we visited, plus he was prompt and efficient. He also provided great advice for us on how to tailor our itinerary around our small child, which ensured everyone involved had a great time.
