We went on a Tuesday, Peles Castle is closed on this day, so we had an hour to see it from the outside. Maybe on days it is closed, half hour would be fine, giving extra time in Brascov .”

I received a confirmation message in the evening, and another one in the morning with all the details and our guide's contact information. Our guide, Rodica, was absolutely exceptional. “It wasn't a good day, tourguide late and no apologies- bus driver started letting us on and she blamed him for hold up ans he didnt know procedure. He knew to be on time. Told wouldn't have time to use toilets at Castle so used road side gas station beforehand. Practically had ro run to keep up to get to castle told wouldn't have any spare time and had to be on time or else left behind, races through Castle and then told had 45 minutes of free time once out of Castle??? “Great trip. Plenty bear spottings. Our guide Bogdan and driver Jony were awesome! Gave us plenty time at each spot and great recommendations to make efficient use of limited time at each spot - this was really helpful! Jony did a great job stopping/ slowing safely to allow us snap the bears. He navigated the transfagarrsen road at a pleasant pace and in a safe manner. Bogdan set the house rules (about feed ig bears, keeping distance etc.) in a polite and humourous manner - it was nice touch. Winding road is worthwhile and so is the lake at the top!”

“Seeing all the sites, castles, and towns were very nice. This tour basically consisted of all on your own time and not really guided tours. You have to pay for the castles, so all you’re basically getting is a day drive there. What the tour did not mention is how rough and winding the drive would be. One got very sick with motion sickness.”

“Our guide, Lucian David, was good, amusing commentary. Transport was in a comfortable 20 seater minibus. First stop was Rousse, pleasant but nothing special. The church in Arbanasi was well worth seeing, amazing frescoes and good views, would have liked some free time as village was beautiful. Excellent pizza restaurant for lunch in Vileko Taranova and stunning views all around the town. A good walk up to the fortress, definitely worth doing for amazing views and surprisingly modern frescoes in the church. All in all a great day and good value.”

“We had a good tour guide and visited several beautiful sights. However, this is not a small-group tour as we were in a bus with 30+ people. The tour operator also refused to pick up from my hotel which was in the drop-down list so I had to take a bus to get to the pick-up location.”
